Fuel pump DELPHI or WALBRO
I have a used 200lph walboro. It’s got maybe 15-20k miles on it. Was 100% functional without issue when I pulled it.
I bought an even cheaper one for $99 on amazon, it’s a Delphi which is a well know brand in the GM world. So far it hasn’t failed me.
It needs a fuel pump. It probably has a new one but the Delphi pumps are notorious for screwing up after like a month and causing multiple attempts to start before the kick in. However, they're also super easy to replace.
Carter, Denso, and Delphi are good choices as far a brand is concerned.
I just installed a Delphi pump and it's been doing great
Buy a Walbro brand replacement pump for your truck and youll never buy another pump again.
Got 20k on my Delphi. No issues.
I just had a new fuel pump and filter, new water pump. thermostat, all rad. hoses,, new MAF, and new spark plugs, all for under $2100 Canadian (about $1500 US).
I let them replace the pump with a Delphi unit I ordered from Partsgeek. They couldn't get it started because the security light was flashing. They left and after leaving the car to sit for half an hour it started right up. Immediately ran rough. Kinda worse than before, still feels fuel starved.
The gauge is wonky with my Delphi pump in my 99.
