Headlights Depo or TYC
Sorry I missed this post, they are pretty good. Some super minor checking going on (inside reflective surface) if you want me to nit pick something about them. Fit wise they are perfect.
DEPO makes good headlights and they\u2019re 3-400 for the set.
Și eu am folosit un far TYC pe o Mazzda 6, fără probleme. Xenon pe faza scurtă, halogen pe faza lungă.
Am TYC de un an cam și nu am avut vreo problema.
Upgraded my old and crusty headlights, to new OEM style TYC lights. It instantly improved the look of the vehicle and its safety and visibility! Definitely worth the $80 CAD investment. Product used: TYC # 20601400 (driver) and #20601300 (passenger) mine came with bulbs pre-installed.
I’ve got TYC headlights on my V50. It all works and fits but the quality is definitely lower than oem, but it works and its a lot cheaper so its worth it if you are on a budget. Would go oem next time though
TYC is perfectly acceptable. I will say I have used TYC stuff in other applications where the connectors felt a little cheaper than the Hella OE, and the fit was not quite 100%
I bought depo and i regret.
I myself have the clear depo ones for the 07-08 Type S. I’ve bought 2 sets. First had condensation after a few months and I got into a accident and was why I bought a 2nd set. This 2nd set now also leaks as well after a few months. Not sure exactly where it’s allowing water inside but I’ve already ordered some oem headlights to avoid dealing with this problem. I never had this problem with the 07 oem headlights. I’d say avoid pressure washing the headlights. That may have been my mistake.
I just installed depo and had a similar issues. Ended up having to test each pin in the connector individually to match everything up properly. The diagrams online and even that came with the kit are all wrong for some reason.
