Headlights OEM FORD or OEM Chevrolet
Low beams on the bolt are good. High beams are great. I have no issue with visibility at night.
My 2020s headlights are awesome - far brighter than any vehicle I’ve had in the past.
I found the headlights on my 2020 to be very, very bright
My 2017 feels like an X-Ray machine on the road. Can see quite far without blinding oncoming traffic.
My 2017 lights are great and I’ve actually received comments on it from passengers
So, I opened my headlights on my 17. It is like others have said a painful process. Main reason is because the factory glue sealing the headlights is very difficult to melt, I had to bake my lights for quite a while to get it to loosen up. And even then the factory glue is basically impossible to get all the way off. Putting it back together isn\u2019t bad, I know some people have condensation issues but I\u2019ve never had any issues with that, plus from the factory there are already drain holes/air holes in the housing anyways.
The car has been amazing except for one thing, the headlights. I can't see ANYTHING at night. I've adjusted the headlights a few times and they are aimed correctly, but the output is so dim that it the only noticeable things are streets signs or other things with that reflective matetial/coating. It makes me nervous to drive, to the point where I will upgrade to anothet car if I can't find a solution.
I constantly get flashed by oncoming cars in my Ranger and it's not high beams. It fucking sucks. I asked at the service and they said nah standard angling.
I had a FiST '14 in the past and the headlights were like two candles. I am in Europe, so I had Euro headlights. I've tried both reflector and projector headlights, without big difference. I've also replaced the bulbs with different options that helped but too less. Unfortunately the headlights on the Fiestas are really bad comparing with other vehicles.
I hate that my 2016 Focus needs to go to the dealership for recoding just to replace the damn headlights.
