I had a 2014 ST1 and I got a pair of those Eagle Eye headlights from ebay for $300. Ran them for over 100K miles before I sold it. The LED's never burned out and the only water ingress issue I had was because I baked and separated the housing to black out the reflectors and screwed up the plastic so it didn't seal right again after that. I will say they got foggy after like 4-5 years but I just sanded and re-cleared them and they were good as new again

Pros: LED's never burned out
Cons: got foggy after years
Vehicle: Ford Focus
Mileage: 160934 km

To be honest, mine are pretty bright and I often wonder if I’m going to be a candidate for r/fuckyourheadlights

Are yours set to auto? Consider taking it to the dealer to see if your headlights need to be adjusted.

Pros: pretty bright

JDM Honda Inspire lights are amazing and are equal to USDM Accord lights if you're willing to spend a bit of money.

Pros: amazing quality, equal to OEM
Cons: costly

This is good to hear. While anything will be better than my 11 year old hazy Honda Fit headlights, the brighter LED’s will really help on our dark, rural, hilly roads.

Pros: brighter LEDs
Cons: hazy headlights
Vehicle: Honda Fit

That said, I have used eBay headlight before, specifically the brand Eagle Eyes (for my daily Camry, not Taco). Things to be concerned about is mainly the lens to housing seal. A lot of cheaper lights will allow condensation to get inside the lenses. Quick fix though.

Pros: quick fix available
Cons: condensation inside lenses

EAGLE EYES Headlights

Don't buy Eagle Eyes. I have used them for other vehicles, but on my GMT800 they broke on the mounting pin holes within a year.

I replaced with Akkon brand in 2019 and they are still trucking, seem to be good quality.

Pros: good quality, still trucking
Cons: broke on mounting pin holes

I had that AT. The twin headlights look nice, but standard light was only the right one, the left was high-beam only. Many people modded that ofc.

Pros: twin headlights look nice
Cons: left high-beam only

I bought some “eagle eyes” brand lights on eBay that look SO CLOSE to OEM, $250 for the pair. They’re crap. And turning the screws won’t even adjust them. They’re literal crap. They point at the ground and I can’t even see more than twenty feet in front of me at night.

Cons: crap, won't adjust

i bought an is300 with aftermarket headlights and moisture seeped in within a week of me having them, not sure how long they were installed. Bought new ones, sealed them with silicone which I found out doesn’t work well, then used a black rubber type sealant and it’s been fine ever since.

Pros: black rubber sealant works
Cons: moisture seeped in

7th gen Civic headlights were worthless. A bunch of flashlights duct taped to the hood would be an improvement. Honda must have gotten an earful because the 8th gen Civic had excellent units.

Pros: 8th gen excellent units
Cons: 7th gen worthless
Vehicle: Honda Civic
