Headlights OEM Honda or OEM Volkswagen
I ended up adjusting mine by 0.5 turns and they're great now. I guess yours could be even worse from the factory than mine were.
Especially since upgrading to ADB (adaptive driving beam) headlights. Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) in VW speak. Best mod ever. If you drive at night, this is a game changer for night vision, spotting deer etc.
Guys, I have successfully retrofitted genuine SEL Premium LED headlights to the car. This was the most challenging retrofit I'd ever done, not because of the wiring, but because of the coding and troubleshooting.
JDM Honda Inspire lights are amazing and are equal to USDM Accord lights if you're willing to spend a bit of money.
Headlights on this car are probably one of the better ones.
I came from a Tesla which were like stadium lights, so at first, they seemed a little dim based on what I was used to. With that said, the ‘26 headlights are fine.
They're adequate but definitely not "great", where I live there aren't any streetlights so my automatic high beams kick on unless there's an oncoming car. There's also a lot of deer, so I've already pre-ordered some ditch light brackets from No-Lo Designs so I can get some better coverage.
I agree with this completely. The dim headlights have bothered me so much I’m already looking at new cars. I have, ‘24 ST. I’m chalking this up as a mistake I missed and will have to pay for.
I’ve been dealing with the same issue for months. Got into a minor fender bender that led to the driver’s side headlight being replaced. The first had damage to the high beam, the second arrived with a scratch across the lens, number 3 filled with condensation that turned into huge water droplets within a day, and number 4 is doing the same. All OEM headlights directly through VW.
The atlas headlights are cheapo garbage units. They cost like $300-500 each and just like my cc of the past, the us version of the headlights were downgraded.
