Headlights OEM Porsche or OEM Mazda
I had to replace one of the PDLS+ headlights and it was $3,600. So that's an expensive fix but at least they didn't tear up the rest of the car.
First thing I did when I bought mine was swap out the dim eBay halos for some stock replacements. Still in there 12+ years later!
Hey there. Wanted to comment on this as I noticed the same thing on my '22 when I bought it.\n\nThis is normal. DO NOT TAKE THEM APART!\n\nWhat you are seeing is the line between the high and low beam LED arrays in your headlight. The new design in '22 made big improvements to the headlight performance and this line is a result of that.\n\nI agree it is somewhat distracting but the new design having more LEDs available for the high beams makes a huge difference in how well they light up the road when they are on.
Is this one in Germany as well?
Our Taycan is Mamba green and we park in front of a hedge in Germany (same license-plate-layout). My heart skipped a beat and another one.
Sorry for your loss mate.
I once read a while ago that some Porsche Cayenne headlights are supposedly very good for growing weed. They used to get stolen regularly, I've heard about several cases here in Germany.
Great car. Ugly headlights
Neighbors headlight stopped working on his $4950 for it woof. Replace the one on my Tundra that was bad $350. The Mecans do seem to suffer some issues with expensive to fix items like every other German SUV's.
That’s terrible, but I’m not surprised. The lens on my 992 cracked and Porsche wanted $6300 for a new headlight (they don’t sell just the lens).
My indy Porsche mechanic told me they had to charge a Cayenne owner 3500+ to replace a headlight. He said even the headlight has a microchip now. Just unnecessary complexity.
