I just put the latter on my 2000 S, they work well.

Installed APR coils with NGK lasers in January. No issues here since.

Did mine recently, with new APR coils and more performance oriented NGK plugs.
Pros: performance oriented
I have OEM Bremi coil pack now. the original Bremi OEM coil went 15+ years and survived 1 OEM cat and 2 magnaflow cats.
Pros: long lasting, survived misfires
I replaced all coils with Bremi 20128 red tops and used liquid electric tape to reinsulate the exposed wire.
Pros: reinsulate exposed wire

Replaced it with OEM Bremi coil (Made in Turkey), same as in car when new. Cost $110. with tax and shipping. Runs smoother than with the aftermarket.

Please get rid of those APR Ignition Coils and RS7 Spark Plugs. You are most likely encountering the misfiring from those alone.
