Ignition coil Denso or HUCO
Just get a Denso. That’s what Toyota uses.
When I replaced my coils this spring I didn't cheap out: went with Denso since that was OEM. When it comes to electrical components, I try to be as close to OEM as I can.
Denso. Reputable company, good parts, I’ve seen them used with good results.
DENSO is an OEM supplier and are pretty good IIRC.
My Denso coils have been running fine for 3.5 years now. 6732312 (673-2312) was my part number for 2nd gen
Rock Auto is legit. I bought the Denso 673-2308 coils for my Fit 2 years ago and have had no problems with them.
Denso makes some OEM ones, just rebranded IIRC.
Denso is what the comes on the car from factory and are cheap on rock auto thats what i replaced mine with and they work well i only put 2k miles on them so far though. The denso ones i pulled out looked like the original from 22 years ago
My ignition coil failed on Sunday. It was a replacement I purchased 5 years ago (brand name HUCO).
I used to use the HUCO brand single coil on my old 8V and it would fail every year.... My parts supplier now only sells HUCO when they can't get the BERU units. I have a BERU on my VR and def a better quality piece. I think I went through 4 coils in 5yrs with my old 8V... eventually I kept one ready in the car "just in case"
