Ignition coil HITACHI or MSD
I replaced the coil with a MSD high performance which was actually cheaper than any other brand, and had significantly better boots on it to keep the water problem from happening again. Haven’t had an issue in 2 years.

I have used the blaster w a stock icm (the inductive version) and also with a 6al (cdi version). Both worked well over for 400whp with a stock dizzy.

I also ordered four (4) new ignition coils from Hitachi, installed them 60 miles ago and it's been smooth since the installation. My car is quieter, more responsive, and idles better. No, check engine lights at all.

I have an MSD blaster 2 coil on my 93 fox and it works great. I went with this coil for convenience (bought at a FLAPS when my stock coil died) rather than performance, so unsure if there are any gains to be had (doubtful).

after you check the dwell and all wiring looks good, it may help to switch to a different coil like the MSD Blaster 3.

I've had similar spark plugs fouling up issue with the G60 turbo swap in my caddy. After checking all the stuff you mentioned, I upgraded to an MSD Blaster 2 coil and NGK plugs with a wider gap (0.030). So far so good, running on all four cylinders now.

Did this conversion on my 2001 Audi A4 with a standalone. I ran it with stock (3ms) dwell and up to 5ms dwell and didnt notice any difference. I was running Hitatchi coils before and would notice slight bumps in idle. Now all I hear is smooth butter at idle.

I ran a Blaster 2 on my old car for a bit. Idle was a little smoother, but it was probably because the coil on it was crap. No real performance gains expected.
