OEM Honda Oil filter

I've used the A02 filter many times, and got them in bulk from Amazon. They're good. When I buy from the dealer, I get a 003 instead -- fewer holes, and made by Tennex instead of Honeywell. I find it easier to get A02 on the aftermarket at a better price, so usually go with that.

Pros: Good filter, better price
Part number: A02

Mahle Oil filter

I own a f30 (330d) and have done my own oil changes for the past 9 years and change oil every 7k miles. I started out using 0w-20 oil till around 60k mileage. I then switched to 5w30 from 60k mileage for engine longevity. I’ve always used Mahle filters on my car. Mann and Bosch are good alternatives to use too. As my F30 sits quite low I have always jacked it off the ground so I can get access to the sump plug. Also remember to change the washer from the sump plug during every oil change.

Pros: easy oil changes, long engine life
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 7000 km

OEM Honda Oil filter

The A02 oem Honda filter is made by the same company that makes FRAM filters, Under the blue paint, it is identical to the FRAM/Honeywell Tough Guard filter Line. Decent filter. Def better options available though.

Pros: Decent filter, identical to FRAM
Cons: Better options available
Part number: A02

OEM Honda Oil filter

I had a 2002 Honda CR-V and the oil filter was mounted horizontally on the back of the engine. You had to reach through the RH front wheel well with the wheel removed or turned all the way to the left. Making a mess was completely unavoidable.

Pros: mounted horizontally
Cons: mess completely unavoidable
Vehicle: Honda

OEM Honda Oil filter

Honda doesn't make oil filter. You are wasting your money.

Buy brand like Fram or bosh, following maintenance schedule the the only really important thing.

Cons: wasting your money
