Mann Filter, Fram e Metal Leve são as principais marcas top no mercado de reposição. Se quiser economizar sem ficar encucado, não abra mão das marcas top para o filtro de óleo

I personally use the Penzoil Euro 0w-30 that matches the VW spec. I buy Mann filters on Amazon, 2 for $20.
Liqui Moly oil and Mann filters. You can buy kits or piece them out. Topside oil changes are easy; skip the jack. It's a 32 mm socket for the filter.

Even tried different filters (Fram, Mann, etc.). It is slighly quieter with thinner oil.
Absolutely not normal for 3k miles looks to be oem/ Mann filter but makes no sense to be collapsed already, did you do the oil change yourself or bring it somewhere to get done 3k ago? Also do not use that k&n keep it Mann
