Just buy Wix filters - rockauto is cheapest I have seen even compared to Amazon - use the 10% code to get free shipping
Personally, I just go ahead and spend the few extra bucks on wix XP.
Wix filters are high quality and affordable, usually get those on amazon.
I use a good filter I use Wix XP.
My personal recommendation is a Ford OEM filter, 10qt Pennz Ultimate Platinum 5w30, and one bottle of Ceratec to help with the infamous "Coyote tick". Many will argue for Ceratec, many will argue against. All I know is my car is quieter with than without.
Been running Pennzoil Ultra and Ford OEM filter on my PP1 and now my Mach 1 for 5 years. Never had a single issue, even with some track days and AutoX.
Oil changes are simple, 7 quarts of Mobil 1 ESP X2 oil, quality filter - I like Wix.
Swapped the oil filter with the recommended Wix oil filter
Wix are better than fram or microgard but they dont beat factory, they restrict oil flow more
my car balloons WIX filters, and it only goes as high as 120psi..
