Bilstein B6 for stiffer suspension -- helped a ton with tire wear given our driving habits and locale. Much better ride in the twisties.

Pros: better ride, stiffer suspension

just did Bilstein B6s. I generally want an OEM feel, but tires are so much stickier now, so going B6 made sense.

Pros: good OEM feel, suitable for modern tires

Save the expense of paying for those shocks and go with Bilstein or Koni, buy the deflator/compressor and come out way ahead. Airing down makes a big difference.

Pros: save money, good alternative
Cons: stock suspension
Vehicle: Nissan

I put Bilstein on and although I loved the way it handled at speed, it was otherwise a disaster, way too stiff and raised the ride height, considerably due to the fact that they were dimensionally incorrect.

Pros: handled well at speed
Cons: too stiff, raised ride height, dimensionally incorrect
Vehicle: BMW
