Shock absorbers Rancho or Dobinsons
I also just went through TreatyOak for a Dobinsons twin tube. 2.5 up front, new UCA, rear bag delete(1”) and 1” springs. Sitting nice and level.
I'm really happy with them. They have eight adjustable settings both the front and the rear for preload and dampening. Otherwise my feelings about the Rancho shocks have been very favorable and the ride quality is at least equal to original factory with some adjustability for when I want to tow or go off-road and I like that.
If budget isn’t a factor I have dobinsons ims front and mrr rear on my 100 and it’s super comfy. Nearly as nice as the factory ahc system, maybe just a tad firmer.
Dobinson is where it's at. Rides sooo smooth
Went with Dobinson 3” coils, struts and shocks (heavy duty shocks for the rear). Truck feels planted now, a good bit firmer and much of the dive is gone.
2021 Trail Edition Dobinson coils/struts Dobinson shocks/add a leaf and Geolander 295/70-18’s. I’m 100% happy with the height, the ride and the look.
Rancho RS5000x are about $200 for a set of 4 and they are a much better product than Skyjacker hydros. Highly recommend them.
I put Rancho 7000? Mono tubes on our 2010 and 5100s on our 2012. Both our great and will last 100k miles.
I put these Rancho RS9000XL Shocks on in 2018 on my 2007 Xterra. I've only put about 20K miles on since. Very disappointed in both the quality and the soft ride they provided. I put on Bilstein 5100s, so far they feel much better.
Bought my truck new and my ranchos were already leaking. So my opinion on them are not high.
