Shock absorbers Rancho or GABRIEL
I put those same Ranchos in my 2002 a couple of years ago. Night and day difference. I don't think my old shocks were doing anything at all.
Any regular shocks should be fine, when I deleted autoride on my suburban I used rancho shocks from rock auto.
I went with Rancho RS7MT, I love the ride with my Clayton 3.5 lift.
Rancho RS5000x's not the normal 5000. They are fantastic. My buddy and I both run them on our TJs. I mostly street drive my 98 with a 2" lift and he has a snow wheeler on 35's and a 4". We are both extremely happy with them.
I have to Rancho 9000s in my identical looking TJ and it rides great. Anyone who drives it can’t believe it’s a lifted TJ
Bilsteins are probably best, unless you want to cough up a lot for fox. I have Gabriel premium right now. Pretty good, but not as good as Bilsteins.
i put gabriels on my 2014 impala and I cannot even shake the car by hand its so stiff..
I have a Ford transit connect and after 3 mos my gabriel shocks bottomed out absolute CRAP!!!
Gabriel shock absorbers are absolute shit.
I had ranchos and my truck pretty much bounced down the road. I switched to bilstein's and it drives and tows better
