Spark plug Autolite or OEM Mazda
My RX8 also got pretty piss poor compression numbers. The only time it struggled with a start up was with literally the original 20 years old plugs it came with and I had to do multiple hot starts. It still started and carried on.
I have a 3.5 ecoboost. All 6 of my Ford plugs failed because of cracks. I replaced them with AutoLite iridium XP5863. They are all still going strong after over 50k miles.

The Ford plugs failed with a cylinder misfire error code. The engine would also bog down under havy accelaration
At around 120,000 KM plan for spark plugs. It's easy, especially if you get a 1/4" torque wrench and 14mm 1/4 deep well socket.
I bought a 19’ Premium at 17 it’s a great little car beat the shit out of it for 4 years straight and it runs amazing still. Handles well in the winter as long as you have clearance it’ll get you there in one piece. Regular maintenance along with trans fluid change, spark plugs, brakes, diff fluid change. I’d recommend a cpo premium . Great value.
I would recommend that if you get one do a full service fluid change on everything. Change the coolant, the trans fluid, diff fluid, oil (10w30 or 10w40, do NOT use the 5w20 reccomended). You'll also want to set aside $80-90 for new spark plugs, and upgrade the coil packs to LS coils from Bennet Built whenever you can. Coils need to be replaced about every 30k miles.
It’s true that you dont’ get quite as good performance as with the Bosch, but this is my second set of autolites and I‘m over 200k miles already.
Most Asian brands are pretty picky about spark plugs. You put Autolites in a 70s malaise-era Ford - not in a modern, sophisticated, computer controlled, turbocharged Honda.
Autolite are garbage plugs. Get denso or ngk plugs and gap them accordingly before installation. You can see signs of blow-by at the porcelain.
I agree with everyone saying NGK but I would also like to recommend you do not buy an autolite if you need a substitute, they have horrible quality control.
Probably going to need to pull them again within a couple years. Autolites are the absolute worst sparkplugs.
