Spark plug Bosch or Autolite
For the last twenty or so years I have only used Bosch plugs. I have had great service in my VWs, Toyotas and Ford.
I've ran Autolites on my racecar that runs in the 7's for 20+ years with no problem. They are the only thing I trust at the moment
if not oem ACDelco get ones from the likes of ngk, or bosch.
When I had dino burner cars, I did all of my own work, and always used Bosch Platinum plugs for my specific engine and heat. Iridium last the longest life, but are more sensitive to getting hot and causing pinging.
I used them in my 2007 Tacoma with no problems. Left them in for several years.
So far we have; Changed to new spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor and the distributor is not leaking oil, tried two different sets of spark plugs Bosch F6DTC and NGK/RIDIUM BKR6EIX.
There seems to have been quality issues with those for quite a while. I couldn't count how many times we removed fairly new Autolite spark plugs and replaced them with a better brand to fix a misfire.
I wouldn’t put autolite plugs even in my lawnmower. NGK or Denso only.
I think I just went back and got the Bosch. Couldn’t return either because I jacked up the nips trying to tweak them off ????
Champion is OEM and what we suggest at work, but NGK has never failed us with any application. Bosch is generally terrible and we only use them if it’s a very specific application.
