Spark plug NGK or AC DELCO
I've left the plugs in and the car fells like it did before. I could have just become accustom to the way it feels now but that "sense of emergency" when I hit the peddle is back.
I am stage2+ and changed out the coilpacks at the same time that I went with NGK. I never did a side by side comparison, but so far i like the NGK's
i havent noticed any drop in performance..runs smoother though like you said, and a little better fuel econ too
I swapped out the plugs using the DIY thread for reference. The BKR6E have been fantastic so far. I can feel the difference in power band. I mash the throttle and there is very little hesitation. Prior to the install, the engine would think for a second, then go. Now, even right from the light, the car just want to "go".
PFR7Q. Hella expensive, but they last for 2 years and give absolutely no trouble.
i use bkr7e in my AWW 1.8t chipped, they work great
replacing the finally worn out NGK PF6Q (stock plugs @ $75.00) that last forever (about 4-5 years, cleaned/re-gapped once)...
Ive used denso iridium and now use ngk iridium. Both have worked very well and last an eternity....as long as the car is properly tuned. A lil more expensive but you dont have to touched them as often as copper plugs.
yeah ive ran them.... i guess there ok but they foul faster then the iridiums...
I just did mine not too long ago and bought the NGK's @ Advanced but they claimed that it had to be gapped @ 0.032 but when I took the old ones out, the bosch we gapped @ 0.030. I put the new ones in and you can feel it not running as smooth but I've been too lazy to find some gapped @ 0.030.
