Spark plug NGK or BERU
Your misfire could be bad plugs, from looking at these pictures your plug gaps look massive. NGKs are good and motorcraft is also good and I wanna say cheaper from RockAuto.
NGK BKUR6ET-10, stock number 2397. With every other car I've owned, the first symptom of failing plugs is missing at higher rpms. In the AEG engine, the first symptom is that it gets hard to start. Do you find that too?
I literally JUST did this today to mine. used NGK 3967's (about $4.27 a piece)... And also replaced the spark plug wire for about $30 using NGK 4412.
i run NGK BP6EFS, no issues with them on 2 engines so far
I’ve run NGK platinum and Denso and they both work well.
Anyway, I finally made the effort and took the plunge, choosing the offline method of sourcing the NGK. That aside, the first pull on the throttle, I felt the difference. It was, for lack of a better word, 'softer', an easier pull. The change showed up in various other ways. A smoother ride, easier acceleration, an hour or so later, easier gear shifts and the ability to be in lower RPMs and speeds in higher gears.
The car started to misfire at boost so I swapped plugs to NGK PFR6H-10 and everything is good now.
Don't use Bosch sparksticks.
I used NGK laser iridium to replace my probably original 256k mile acdelco plugs. Noticed exactly no difference in performance.
Be careful where you buy your plugs. There are counterfeit NGK plugs out there. I found out the hard way. I purchased off of Amazon. Mine melted before I could even get a mile in to my session.
Velas NGK, nunca use Bosch, terá problemas.
