Spark plug NGK or BERU
Iridium will last longest. Grab them if you race or run the piss out of that bike but for all intents and purposes a plain old NGK is plenty adequate for everyday riding and then some.
Ngk have been pretty reliable motor craft is pretty good too but I've seen good life spans for both.
Very broadly, only use NGK, Denso, Bosch, or Champion.
according to my halfords e- receipt i last used cr8 iridium plugs, no complaints here.
NGK all day, compared to all others they’re just made better, I bought Bosch platinum for a VW and the OE came out were NGK, after 50k they were still visually a better manufactured plug. Example- the plating on the Bosch threads was rougher.
Over the last 16 years with my 8 gas engine VWs and Audis, the OEM or OEM equivalent (Bosch or NGK) at stock gap (unless chipped) have performed better and more consistent than any other I've tried.
The NGK's have been a solid go to for me and my little Pocket Ferrari for every day driving.
NGK run good for me
Had these Beru plugs put in last year. Are they the kind that’s at greater risk for damaging the engine?
I also just put in a set of NGK BKR7E's and gapped them a little large (.034) seeing as the ones I pulled out were at .043 That did nothing and the issue is still persistent.
