Spark plug NGK or OEM Subaru
The most expensive proposition was a new windshield, but your particular insurance could solve that. Spark plug replacement was a surprise as far as cost is concerned. I've routinely changed the oil and cvt fluid once. No other maintenance issues. I love the car. Incredible roominess in the cabin and very capable offroad when needed.
I plan on doing the spark plugs soon just picked up NGK Iridium plugs.
I put in NGK Lazer Iridium in mine about 60k ago and they've been fine.
I had to pull champions that were hardly worn. NGK ran a lot better.
Personally I’m running EQT’s stage 1+ tune and I just went with the recommended plugs (NGK 4905s) for peace of mind. I think it’s worth the extra couple bucks for my sanity
I'm using oem ngk plugs changing every 2nd oil change so around 16,000km
I only use NGK or Nippon Denso plugs, for a reason after a career as a technician.
just did my wife’s Nissan rogue and it needed NGK spark plugs that were around $35 each.
I stopped buying plugs from eBay and Amazon years ago after getting what I can only assume was a bunk set for my BMW. They looked the part, but caused the engine to run rough.
I stopped buying “NGK Iridium” plugs on eBay AND Amazon a while back. They’re nearly all chinesium knockoffs.
