Spark plug OEM Toyota or Autolite
If you care more about performance, or cheaper cost, get the autolite a103, or ar103. Those will give you the best performance, but they only last like 10k. But they’re also dirt cheap.
Maintenance: 39th Oil Change (every 10K) and Tire Rotation, 13th Engine Air Filter, 13th Cabin Air Filter, 3 brake jobs, 3 coolant flushes, 2 spark plug changes w/carbon cleaning, no suspension work, no transmission service, 1 Break Down at 280K Due to a Design Flaw In The MGR Cable Which Powers The Hybrid System $5200, cat issue at 380K due to bad gas, no hybrid battery replacements in case you were wondering, does not consume oil
I have autolite xp in the van. $100 for 6 ngk, $90 for denso with a van with 250k miles. Everyone says there crap, but it runs great.
UPDATE: owners manual calls for replacement around 120k so I'm not that far behind i guess. Still went out and bought 4 new plugs and installed them. $80 at the dealer
Noticed before the LTFT was -6% and now its back to 0%.
I bought some Autolite double platinum spark plugs because they were on sale at the Napa where I live but everybody I have tried asking to help me do my spark plugs has gawked as soon as I say "Autolite" and tells me that I'll have nothing but issues with those plugs and that "they're only good for Fords" basically.
I would never install Autolite on any car, definitely not the WRX.
Out of all my years replacing spark plugs. The only times I got bad spark plugs that misfired right away is the one time I ordered a fake set thru ebay(my fault for not doing my due diligence) and a set of brand new auto lites from autozone.
I purchased some Autolite XP Iridium spark plugs earlier this month and immediately installed them. Within a mile of driving, the car started shaking violently and the check engine light came on. I immediately turned around and reinstalled the old plugs and the problems went away.
Autolite are pure trash maybe suitable for a lawn mower if you like breaking plugs off in heads
Autolites gotta be the worst fkn plugs on the market rn.
