UPDATE: owners manual calls for replacement around 120k so I'm not that far behind i guess. Still went out and bought 4 new plugs and installed them. $80 at the dealer
Noticed before the LTFT was -6% and now its back to 0%.
Normally that's a result of a failed spark plug seal. If you have no other problems I would put new spark plugs in it and check them at the next oil change.
Since then I have take good care of it, replaced the brakes on schedule in August 2020 and then in August 2021 new spark plugs.
Those look great last time I did mine they were all carboned up but I was at 300k but definitely made a difference in Fuel economy and a little less sluggish
I’ve owned my truck for a year now and just decided to take out the spark plugs to see how old they were… mfs were the original factory plugs 14 years old and ran for 246k miles.. basically got a brand new truck now haha
My 2002 had a similar issue. In my case it was the spark plugs, $250 fix.
I was looking at pictures of the V12 engine found in the Toyota Century. Then I noticed the spark plug/coil arrangement: Interesting.
