Strut assembly Monroe or Sachs
I also put MK2 Scirocco sway bars on her car, front and rear, and with Sachs struts all the way around, it handled and rode fantastic.
To me what it sounds like is the strut tops are worn out but at that mileage i would replace struts also ..... maybe be easier to find a complete set aftermarket monroe makes a decent set and is much cheaper than factory strut and mount and a hell of alot easier to change and safer if you are planning to change them yourself .......................edited for typo
I owned a Dodge Caliber, not for long but I did. You have **Struts in the Front** and **Torsion Bar setup** in the Rear; meaning the Springs and Shocks are separate in the Rear
I use Monroe on anything sedan shaped, and have never been let down if I'm looking for as close to stock as i can.
Part brand reccomendations also welcome... looking at ACDelco for sway bar links and ball joints, Delphi for control arm bushings, Monroe quick struts. Mevotech any good for Hondas??
Monroe quick struts... All four corners fully assembled for 67 off Amazon.
stay away from monroe.
The Monroe quick struts made my Lexus ES300 a low rider so I exchanged them for FCS.
monroe used to be a good product in the 90s not so much today.
Factory struts are now made by Sachs and didn't last.
