I use Bridgestone Blizzaks. I can still get sideways when I want to, but grips good when studs aren't an option.
Two good tires are Bridgestone Blizzaks and Continental Vikings.
It isn't the car, it's the tire. I've been commuting in RWD LSs (first a 460, now a 500) for the last 13 years in Michigan with Bridgestone Blizzaks.
Generally, the best winter tires will be Bridgestone Blizzak.
I found the Porsche to warm up pretty well by like 2 - 3 laps. Easier to brake. Braking distance a little shorter.
I went through a set of Blizzaks in a year. I drove like 20k miles and didn’t change them in the summer.
