Tires BRIDGESTONE or VITOUR
I have got the Bridgestone RE960A/S and they are just a good all around tire. I have put more than 30k miles on them and have only one complaint...some noise. That is it. They handle great in the dry, wet, and even snow here in Michigan. They also wear great.
The RE-01R's are on a massive sale right now, as the replacement will be coming soon.
Play with 'em and see how they feel. Anywhere 32 - 42 pounds is gonna be alright, but if you're sensitive, you'll find a pressure that yields the best combination of ride and handling ( and maybe wear), and lets the sidewall construction work as designed. I've found it to be 37/35 for stock contisports, the same or a pound more for my PS2's, 3 lbs less for my RE050A Bridgestones.
Mine are on thier 8th winter! Still have decent tread left.
the blizzak, i love mine.
Three Bridgestone Potenza RE750 tires, size 205/40/17 W80 About 1000 mi on them and a very sticky performance tire.
The H rated 18" bridgestone dueler H/Ls seem to perform about 90% as well as the V rated OEM Contis that I replaced them with. IMO I gave up 10% of the sticky feel of the Contis for the awesome tread wear of the bridgestones...
I had the same problem with my Bridgestone Potenza RE050's. I contacted Bridgestone directly and they told me that they would warrranty my tires at a pro-rated cost. My tires had 20K on them and they met me halfway. I ended up with a brand new set of Bridgestone Potenza RE960A/S Pole Position's with UNI-T for $400 installed (Usually $800). I've had the tires for about 6 months and they are pretty quiet compared to the RE050's.
I have the RSe05 (17x8) with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A 235/45R17 and I noticed I have slight chunking of the blocks on the outer shoulder after one heavy track weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
i have the bridgestone potenza RE050A's.. came on my huffs stock...i need new ones on the front allready! with a 140 treadware rating they burn down quick!
