Tires Continental or BRIDGESTONE
I just changed to gp5k 30mm with tubiltos
Noticeably faster. Also went from 65 psi with 32 mm to 80 on the new 30s. And the tires let u know when the road surface is poor.
(2009 R1) Used S22's in heavy rain and roasting hot on track then used them to commute the following day. Worked perfectly fine in all conditions.
Just put these Conti Crosscontact LX25 on my Hyundai Sante Fe. So much better than the Kumho Crugen previously on that wore out very quickly (got 25,000 rotated every 7500 miles) and not quiet on the road. Yes the $110 rebate did help with the decision. Put on around 800 miles and pretty happy with them. Like other Conti, quiet on the road. There's less road feeling but for a family car, fine for my wife.
I went with Continental PureContact LS. All of my looking and reading and personal experience and prices... this is what seemed best to me.
I suggest getting the same stock tires- Thats what I do for my car 3x na sya pinalitan and same din Bridgestone - coz its what it came with and sabi nmn nila better braking and performance - and again yung yung OOB nya, natawid ng lampas gutter na baha and mabato na kalsada ng probinsya, natuyong ilog - malubak na city road.
I actually have used both the weatherpeak and cross climate 2 tires, the cliff notes are, the bridgestones are quieter and have no fuel economy penalty, they also handle better
For SUV, I prefer Bridgestone Dueler, good quality tires for offroading and highway use.
New tires are Continental CrossContact LX25 - researched with my very loyal and reliable mechanic. Fingers crossed these wear better.
Continental extreme contactforce (275F/325R) probably slots somewhere slightly above the goodyears in pace with probably less longevity.
Replaced mine at 19k. I live in Oregon and want good tread and channels on the rainy roads. Dealership offered to sell me the same tire. I laughed and got Continentals elsewhere. Much better.
