Tires Continental or Goodyear
The vikingcontact are a top tier tire, but the falken are not far behind. If your budget is limited the falken is a solid option
Latest all season tires like Good year vector gen3 and Pirelli Cinturato received very good reviews, the former are the first ever tire to get a “good” by ADAC. Maybe worth a look.
After having tyre wall damage to my Hankook run-flats, thought of switching to radials for better durability & ride comfort. Such a great decision, indeed! I finalized with Continental UC6 87V.
I got a good deal on new Goodyear Winter Commands at end of season in the spring, so I’ll be trying those.
I was down to Michelin pilot sport vs continental extreme contact and went with continental because there were a lot of reviews saying that the michelins wore out too fast. The continental tires have been the best I've ever had. .
For what it’s worth, I run Continental ExtremeContact Sports. They’re almost as good as the PS4’s for a little less money.
Continental Extremecontacts DWS06+, outstanding set of tires.
Especially in the rain, the amount of grip you'll still have is amazing
I've had an '18 GT for a few years now, and I am just now on my second set of Conti ExtremeContact DWS06. They've served me well driving up to Big Bear for snowboarding, and ripping on Angeles Crest in the summer. I have also NOT been kind to them (left turns from a stop I just can't help myself). 10/10 would recommend them for an all around grippy and safety tire.
I had put 12k on mine before dry rot got them and replaced them with continental tires. Have been good over the 15k miles so far.
I was desperate to find something to replace my GP5000's after they got their 6th puncture in the space of 4 months of riding. Threw them in the trash.
