These are hands down my favorite tires I've ever put on my car
Got some Continentals, (Dws06 Plus) they feel great. Minimal road noise. Nice grippy feel. Feels like I'm on train tracks.
Why I run continental supper contact tires. Great in wet and amazing in dry weather
Yes, GP5000s are one of the best all around tubeless tires. Good luck finding 32s in stock, been looking for a whole year and NO ONE has them.
The grip is very good (GP5000s might be marginally better), and they are pretty supple tires so they are comfortable
personally I skipped going for the Hakkapeliittas this time and went with Continental IceContact XTRM Studded, So far they have been great! but damn are they loud on dry pavement lol.
Continental 175/70 r13 tires imported from Italy in July 2020 (at substantial expense \ud83e\udd23) to wrap this set of 82 Jetta wheels for my resto-mod. Finally got them painted to my satisfaction in reflex silver. Searched all of US and Canada for Continental 175/70s with no luck.
i just got a set of continentals in june and i am in love. prior to this, i had dunlops (original set) and i think yokohama after that. i hated them both. slid in the rain all the time. came here for a recommendation and saw lots of praise for the contis. so glad i found them.
I'm very happy with the Contis!
Used to use them but they’re downright dangerous in the wet and almost impossible to get on/off. Use Continental Grand Sport Race now which are almost as resistant but half the price and with a lot more grip. No punctures in 1,600 miles.
I have never been a fan of Conti tires, especially anything with "ContiSport" in its name. They come OE on many German marques, and I can't for the life of me figure out WHY other than some smoking back room deal hammered out over loads of pharmaceuticals in the wee hours of the morning. My MK6 felt like a cement truck with its OE Contis. They would flat spot in what seemed like 120 seconds, noisy as all get out and lasted 1/3 of the claimed milage. Ive permanently deformed Contis on my old 05 E55 by just hitting a small chuck hole or bump. This is anecdotal evidence at best, but my money is on the tires being deformed, belt shift or what ever the excuse of the day is.
