We just replaced the stock Yokos with Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail ATs. Don't have a lot of miles on them yet but they're quiet so far and have performed well in the rain.
used to sell tires for years. starfire or mastercraft were good. they're a lower tier tire produced by cooper that still retain a decent warranty.
My own choice is Cooper, not the cheapest, but it definitely lasted longer than any of my Goodyear or Firestone tires I had in the past.
Great light-duty all-terrain tires. I bought a set (255/75-17) for my Jeep Wrangler. It hasn't snowed since I bought these tires, but they have excelled in the rain and on dry pavement.
Have been running them on my 2000 TJ since 2017. Great tires in any conditions.
Awesome tires! I have had 3 or 4 sets of these exact tires and LOVE them! Little loud on the pavement but...When you hit the snow or sand/mud? You will be very happy you bought them! Absolutely my favorite tires! Love the aggressive look, and "IDGAF" nature on the trail! They work great!
Great tires. Fantastic for wheeling. Remarkably quiet for mud tires when new. After about 40,000km they start to get more road noise as the softer outer rubber compound wears off.
I run those on my xj. They're good beefy tires and I haven't had trouble with them yet in the mud. Lot of road noise but it's to be expected.
I installed 4 Cooper Adventure Tour tires at PepBoys back in March 2022 and drove on them, in my 2018 Corolla, until Nov 2023 when I got an unrepairable nail in the driver's side front tire. I drove about 41K miles on them before the nail, with about 75% on the freeway/highway.
Budget Coopers are horrible tires.
