The 999 rear does skid out much easier then the Dunlop American elite, however I like to skid so that is a pro for me. I ran thru 2 Dunlop elites quite quickly. For the record I did like the Dunlop AE, just didn’t like replacing it every season
The Elites are a much better tire and I’m going to miss them when they’re gone.
I run Dunlop American Elites. Mind you, I do so because it’s a good tire - not so much a ‘Made in America’ reason, albeit a plus.
Dunlop SP Sport J6, my go to for budget tyres. The wet and dry performance is good although it can get a bit noisy over time.
Dunlop Roadsmart 4 is a very good tire.
Good grip and good mileage.
I have a fifth BBS CH on my GTI, I probably should change that tire with a new 225/40/18...I've used it a few times already since I bought a used dunlop tire back in 2013ish sometime when I went to all the used tire shops in the area to get that tire.
i just purchased these tires a few weeks ago for my 2021 nissan rogue. they drive fine. they’re as quiet as my old ones, but maybe a little bumpier. the one thing that i noticed the most though was the drop in my fuel efficiency.
Those tires came on my RAV4 and were garbage. Lasted 35K before I got new ones. After changing to new tires it made me realize how awful those were. They ride like shit, are loud and wear very fast. Won’t even buy a Dunlop tire again.
Apparently OE Dunlop tires are designed to wear into slicks down the centre and this isn't due to overinflation by the first owner of my 2021 FWD. But I will never choose Dunlops when I do replace the tires.
Mine lasted 35K miles before I replaced them. Worst tires I have ever had on a vehicle. The ride quality changed dramatically when I replaced them and I realized how shit they were.
