Tires DUNLOP or Vredestein
I now run the Dunlop D604, and it’s perfect for me. I run gravel roads and farm trails that are mostly dirt and mud. Granted- they are an all-terrain tire, and will not do as well as the knobbies in deep mud, but they are more than efficient for gravel and hard pack/well traveled dirt roads, even if they’re wet and slick.
The Dunlop's that come with the bike were pretty good but the Pilot Road 6 I've got on them right now are just marvellous on grip and wear. I don't think I'll pick a different tyre from now on.
I have had no issues with these tires. I assume the people from Norway know how to make winter tires, lol.
I have had the Quatrac 5 on my car for a few years without issue.
I haven’t had those but have been running a set of Quatrac Pros for the past three and a half years. They have been good tires. No complaints from me after nearly 44k miles.
I'm very pleased with the Vredestein Hypertrac all-season tires
I'm very happy with my Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires. They're an All-Weather tire that splits the difference between an all-season and winter tire. They can handle all temps, but are 3 mountain peak certified for winter weather. They're quiet, comfortable, and competent.
I ran these tires once to save money. You can get a knee down but noticably less traction than something like an s22. Afterwords I switched to michelin power 5's, loved them.
Vreds are noisy as fuk
The dunlop d214 is not great. Look at the dunlop roadsmart 3 or 4.
