Tires Falken or FULDA
I just got a new set of falken wildpeak a/t trail tires, and love them
Falken wildpeak 235/85r16 - realy liked them.
I only have experience with the wildpeaks and I really like them. No road noise and I actually noticed an improvement in traction in a spot where I used to spin the tires with my old factory yokahamas.
Yup, the Wranglers suck. Thankfully 255/65-19 KO3s coming out soon! And there is enough room for 33s under the new Defender, so 20s aren't a bad option if you don't want to downsize brakes for 18s (on the I6). I'm running AT3s and they are TOUGH. I just need some more sidewall. And it handles/drives so so well. I go from trails to twisties with zero effort or compromise.
I have 215/40R17 fulda sport control 2 on my 320i coupe on replica alpina wheels, i dont know the sizes.. but combined with bilstein b12 coilovers and z3M steering rack its like a go kart
I rock Falken Pro’s on my ‘22, and I am VERY happy with them. Handles any rain or standing water like a champ (it rains ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME. here). Even the snow we got this previous winter (about 6”) was nothing, felt like I was on dry pavement.
I've had Falken FK520 on my MK4 Golf R32 as well as on my BRZ currently. Pretty good price for daily and back roads if you're not immediately taking it to the track or autoX
I have about 15k miles on some Falken Aklimates and they’re not bad. Live in upstate NY and they’ve handled the seasons well so far. No hesitation when getting some more spirited driving in through the Adirondacks.
I got about 25K out of a set of Falken Wildpeaks. I was told that I shouldn’t expect to get more than 30K on any AT tires out in Colorado
Falken Wildpeaks are the worst A/Ts I've run. Hard as hell and sketchy in the rain. I only had 20k ish miles before I sold them, but they were progressively getting louder.
