Tires FEDERAL or RIKEN
Ran the original tires for 6yrs just replaced them with some Federal Evoluzion ST-1 225/50ZR/17 high performance tires summer only all Im going to say is money well spent ????
Just the loudest tires on planet earth. Boy do they grip through!
I just went from Federal 595 RS-RR (very loud but performed well on street and autocross) to their 595 RS-Pro (waaaaay quiter, I love these tires so far).
I also own a set of these, I can confirm. Fits my BMW very well as they used to make airplane engines, and these sound like a Messerschmidt prop plane.
Licna preporuka za neku budget gumu je Riken, odlicna po suhom, drzi nenormalno po suhom, nesto slabija po mokrom.
Federal tires to add sa mga choices
Federals will be really noisy after a few thousand miles. Almost like your wheel bearings don’t exist anymore. Had rs-rr and 615k+. 615k+ is better. Both are way off pace but great budget tires. 615k+ is actually a pretty good tire for hpde.
My “RíKEN RAPTOR” tires sound pretty… well I think about my driving on cooler temp roads with corners or any moisture.
I got federals once because bills were coming all at once. Worst tires i ever had, so noisy, rough on the road and just didn’t feel great. Snow they were actually great surprisingly.
I’ve been running Riken Raptor ZR A/S tires since I got my WRX just over a year ago and FINALLY got my hands on a set of Blizzaks. I’m excited to see how they handle any future snows here in Colorado Springs. We just had a good bit of snow dumped on us this past week and the all seasons were definitely showing signs of needing replacement.
