Tires Firestone or OEM FORD
‘25 Big Bend with the Black Diamond package. I absolutely love it and have zero complaints. Very roomy and does amazing in the snow! Also great on gas, even after changing to winter tires.
Decided on Firestone Affinity. Firestone's higher level brand, Bridgestone's research and development has trickled down to the Affinity AS tires. You can save some money by avoiding the Bridgestones. But 6 months in, with the amount of snow in Chicago this winter, all I can say is I haven't regretted my choice whatsoever.
Dapat pala palitan mo agad yung gulong kasi tinipid sya, pangit yung model na ginamit. Pati battery susuko agad lalo kung mahilig ka sa short trips. Pero everything else is great, lalo yung driving feel at transmission.
I have a 2021 PP1 GT and honestly I just dont know how people crash these things. Granted the PP1 has better tires and better overall suspension setup. When the tires are warmed up this thing hooks up very well and takes curves like on rails.
My 2017 Focus RS with Blizzaks. Nothing I've driven has ever come close.
I'd take the F-150 I already have. It has 3-peak rated tires on it, heated seats, runs on regular, and in the off chance something breaks for some reason, parts are easy to find because they're everywhere. I can confirm it's a beast in the snow even in 2WD because of the tires.
I had a 1999 Explorer and had it at the dealer for an oil change. While it was there word came down from Ford: if it’s an Explorer with Firestone tires, switch to Goodyear! So, for about $40 I got an oil change and 5 new tires (including the spare). Best deal I ever got on a car!
In the past I always used Blizzaks. Had some Firestone Winterforce years ago, didn’t mind them either.
Those are suredrive sold by firestone. Do not even think of taking these on any ice or snow. Firestone sells all season tires that have the capability of going in snow but these are not it. These are entry level tires.good enough for highway and city driving but that’s it.
1990s Ford Explorer were pretty solid except for the pesky factory installed Firestone tires that would blow out at speed.
