Tires Firestone or OEM Honda
The newer style Firestone WinterForce 2 are decent tires. Good tread design, not too hard, not too soft compound. Fairly priced $100-150/ea depending.
On a other note, the Indy 500s are a great tire. 90% of the grip of the Pilot Sports for a fraction of the price.
I have 205/50/16 Indy 500s on Dekagrams and it’s perfect. Have specR lowering springs also. And no rubbing (sits perfect to me).
I now have Firestone Indy 500s and am quite pleased with them.
Firestone indy 500. Rest of the world except usa they are known as bridgestone re003
fantastic tires. on my 3rd set on my z over the years. Great in the rain. good traction. not noisy. and affordable
Another decent tire at a very good price is the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. They handle all the spirited driving I do quite well.
I’ve put Weathergrips on three vehicles, and I’ll continue to put them on vehicles if I have to. Phenomenal winter performance (in Southern Ontario) and absolutely brilliant in the wet. Zero hydroplaning. In the summer, I air them up a few pounds over the car manufacturer spec and they respond quite nicely.
Not a Subaru owner :( but I run Firestones xt destination on my yoda and truck. I’ve had Toyo open country’s and wild peaks on my truck and I honestly like the Firestone’s better for everyday use light off roading and styling.
Buy the best you can afford, but name brand can be deceiving. IMO both Goodyear and Firestone are lower tier brands.
I had Firestone’s (Firestone is owned by Bridgestone) and I hated them with a passion. They didn’t handle the rain or snow good at all, and after only 20k miles I had this, cracking all over the tires.
