Tires GOODRIDGE or OEM FORD
My maintenance has been a new set of tires, new wiper blades, gallons of wiper fluid.
Wind. I see it all the time here in the Southwest. Washboard road patterns emerge like sand dune shifts in the Sahara. Couple that with constant movement from tires on vehicles, it makes it worse.
I seem to get 45k km from each full set of Goodride SA07s (215/45/ZR17). This is on a Subaru Legacy that spends most of its time above 80kph.
Got good ride tires for my 370z they held up around 150mph several times no issues or warping but they have horrible traction my car now feels like it has 400hp definitely recommend
I did it last winter (edit I may have had 245/60/r18, so taller tire but not wider). They fit, but you definitely cant go any bigger. Minimal clearance of shocks on the front wheels plenty of space at the back. Probably threw off the speedometer a bit, did slightly raise the vehicle.
These tires are too tall. There's a headlight bracket that doesn't touch normally, but if you're turning and the suspension compresses, whether from a bump or cornering, then you will get these gashes in the shoulder of your tire.
I have 225/45r16 on mine. Only have rubbing with the fender going over medium to large bumps at speed. I've had small slivers eaten out of the same area. I'm on my second set of 225's. No significant issues.
They look to be mounted correctly; however, I find cheap chinese tires like those don't perform as well as good quality tires, are more noisy, and wear out faster.
I can confirm. Do not sign up! I purchased a brand new truck 5 years ago,, the dealer has done all services, brakes, new tires, etc. Everything should have been perfectly maintained. I live in the mountains. I have a 5 mile dirt road to my farm. Ford install one size larger tire than what came originally on the truck. Unfortunately the mountain road can get rough in winter. This I believe caused a bolt to fail on the axle.
The Goodrides on the cheap M3 I bought gripped like greased plastic in the snow.
