Tires Goodyear or FULDA
I'm a big fan of the GY SC3R for HPDE. The grip is so impressive once you get some heat into them.
Put new tires on the crosstrek (some Goodyear from Costco) and they are better but I think that's to be expected.
Goodyear eagle ones on the factory 19s. Solid ride, comfortable, and plenty of traction
I've got Goodyear Reliant All-Seasons on mine currently. Got them for $62 a piece last Novermber, and have good luck with most Goodyear and Cooper tires.
Tires did extremely well and im very impressed with the Goodyear eagle F1 super sports, no greasiness, super communicative, and got gripper as heat went up.
If you’re keeping the stock 225/55R17 size I highly recommend Goodyear Viva 3s. They did amazing all Michigan winter delivering pizza, never got stuck. Solid All-Seasons
I have a 2012 accord and have Goodyear weather ready on them. They currently lasted 71k and still have some tread left. I live in PA, had no issues during winters.
If your car feels like it’s bouncing/bobbing sideways (I’m guessing that’s what you mean by “bubbling”), it’s probably due to the softer material used on the winter tires. I’m running a set of Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady and they show the same behavior. The effect will less noticeable eventually as the tire passes the break-in period.
I was very upset that both tires needed replaced with only 20K miles and a year and a half.
True tho. You know why it's called Goodyear? Because you're tires are only good for a year. We had em put on our van and in about 9 months they were cracked and rotted. Even better the fucking tire shop wouldn't warranty them even though we were well below the mileage on the warranty.
