They were great for me. 45k miles and lots of crawling in co and Utah. I have Falken wildpeak at4's now and kinda thinking I preferred the Goodyears.
I’ve driven my 2D OBX with SAS since Jan 2022…26,000 miles and many off-road trips…the tires have been great. I’ve owned quieter tires and I think these could use more sidewall protection. I haven’t had a flat and wear is barely noticeable.
I myself drive Nankang AS2+ with the dimensions: 235/35 R19.
Apart from the less direct steering and a driving profile that is a little more geared towards comfort, I am very satisfied.
I have a great grip feeling and the rim protection is slightly wider than with the nexen nfera su1.
Goodyear Supercar 3s. Look up One Lap of America. Goodyear won that event running SuperCar 3s on their Porsche Turbo S.
I really liked the Goodyears as a triple duty tire on my Camaro. Even without camber plates it wore nice and evenly and was still fast right down to the cords.
I have the Goodyear Assurance tires! I got them on sale at Walmart and they are just incredible.
Coming from OEM 275/60-20 Wranglers.
Recalibrated using a Taser. Noticed a 2.5 mpg drop, using the lie-o-meter.
Noticeable reduction in peppiness and extended braking, but still love it.
I have since transitioned to a set of Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts (275/60/20) for the past year and a half.
The best I’ve gotten was shy over 19 MPG (19.3-19.5) but average 17-18 MPG highway, same speeds 65-70 MPH.
City is around 14-16 on average.
Yeah, btw I used to have this same Goodyear Tire that wasn't this cracked but were 12 years old. these tires SUCK, sliding everywhere ffs. Got some nice new bridgestone blizzak ws90's on my whip now, haven't had any significant snow yet but I can only imagine they'll be 100% worth it. already so much better in the rain
I just replaced a 3rd brand new set of reliants. They were horrible in my experience. They ALL dry rotted. Those 3 sets were purchased within 4 years.
