R Wagon, studded 17" Good Year Ultra Grip Ice Arctic. I'll say no more..
I put on a set of Eagle Sport all-seasons about 10K miles ago and I like them. They grip well and road noise has been non-existent. But they do maintain their grip on wet roads.
I had Eagle F1s on my RSX after having a set of Nitto summer tires. I have to say, I loved them. Grippy, and handled minor inclimate weather way better than the Nittos.
I had Yoko yk580's on these wheels and when I changed to goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric all seasons (pretty light tires) that made a huge difference!!!

That said, after picking the tire I thought would provide the best value I found the Goodyear Comfort Tread Touring was the same bottom line price locally because of a big rebate. Made in USA and may be the best tires I have ever owner.
Decided to go with GoodYear Assurance Comfortred Touring tires. Already put on 400 miles on them and I have no complaints yet. However... they ride better than the previous tires. The Comfortred sticks to the road and at high rate of speed (80mph) was a slight noise level to them but after riding on them, I do not hear any noise from them.
My Goodyears did that after 40k miles/5 years.

Vw has used crappy American Goodyear Eagle LS-2 back on the mk4 and b6 passat days. So crappy VW issues a TSB for abnormal wear rates.
The summer tires on my Mustang lasted a whole 12k miles - but they were staggered so they couldn't be rotated and were the worst tire ever put on at a factory (Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars).
