Tires Hankook or DUNLOP
as for brand, the last time i was running that many miles, i had good luck with hankook
I'd take the hankook prime 4, they're great tyres for the price. Really grippy.
Hankook. It's all I ran on my Forester and that thing was a tank. I'm now using them on my Acadia.
I got hancook kynergy tires for my second set and they've lasted me for 80k so far. The stock tires were kinda trash but these have been great year round
I was leaning towards the Hankook because of the great ratings. But I’ve also had to replace one on my factory continental tires a few months ago because I got a flat.
The OEM Hankooks (on my 24') go full slip and slide mode if there's a drop of water on the road anywhere within 3 miles.
I can turn the "heavy steering" wheel with two pinched fingers and just my wrist when driving. It's not a big deal.
Diff breather mod.
Check the rain channels on the roof for cracking paint. Dealer should fix that as it's considered a workmanship warranty, else you can apply clear coat to the spots yourself to seal them when it inevitably cracks again.
If a leaf ever gets under the moulding/gasket around the windshield it can and will sound like your front speakers are crackling and dying when driving past 60 MPH and make your blood pressure go up trying to figure out what the hell is making that noise.
'24 Golf R that came with Hankooks. Just hit 14k miles and they're still going with about 4/32nd's left. Definitely getting louder as the tread goes lower. Overall, not terrible tires but don't have a lot of feel and grip is reasonable.
When I had those tires mounted on my 3, they wore extremely rapidly - so much so that the rep at Discount Tire was surprised.
Worse tires I've ever had was a set of hankook tires, as soon as they got a drop of water on them they would feel like you're driving on ice
Dunlop (aktuell) sind aber nicht zu gebrauchen. Der Dunlop sollte laut ADAC Test auch mit einer der besten sein, ist aber bei ein bisschen Regen schon total "rutschig".
