Hankook Tires

I have Hankook Winter I*Pikes in 225/60R16 XL (102 load rating, I think) on my 2003EV. They have worked well for me.

Pros: worked well

nowadays, the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 can t be beat if price/performance/longevity have to be taken into account i can get 4x 245-40-17 for less than 400 bucks and they'll be at my door in a day from tirerack

Pros: price, performance, longevity

Pirelli Tires

After seeing the performance of Pirelli in WRC, and some of the direct massive pothole shots my OE Pirellis have taken, I'm impressed with them

Pirelli Tires

I've been happy with my Pirell P-Zero Nero M+S... Good in cold, wet, slush, muck and even a few inches of snow... very good in the dry too.

Pros: good in cold, wet

My original Pirelli's were loud after 10K miles. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. The Yoko's are very quiet with exceptional handling characteristics.

Pros: very quiet, exceptional handling
Cons: Pirelli's were loud
Mileage: 10000 km

Pirelli Tires

The Pirelli PZero Nero M&S is a ULTRA PERFORMANCE tire [one step down from the MAX PERFORMANCE] and is an all-season tire, which is a compromise in handling compared to the Kumho MX's.

Pros: ultra performance tire
Cons: compromise in handling

From my experience, when the pirellis start to go, they suck quickly. Didn't realize how bad noise / vibration was @ 20k until I got new Hankook v12s.

Cons: bad noise, vibration
Mileage: 32186 km
