Tires Hankook or Sailun
Bought a set of the new Hankook iON HT tires for my R1T in the 275/65R20 variant. This is replacing the Pirelli Scorpion AT with this All-Season. Will report back and do a video on efficiency and reliability on RivianTrackr.
Did a 229 mi trip and got 2.3 mi/kWh on full highway. I’ll keep reporting back on my thoughts.
Consider the Hankook Ion HT on 21\u201d. They are wonderful by every measure including price, warranty and efficiency.
Very happy with the Hankook ion Evo AS SUV on the Ariya. The grip is much better in all conditions, even snow. Very quiet, and range has been similar to the Dunlops.
We moved to Sailun eRange tires on our Leaf. They have been fantastic for efficiency and holding up well.
I bought Sailun E-range designed for EV. They cost less than others EV tires. So if they last less than expected, I will had save the equivalent of 1 tire. Until now they last.
As for a tire vote, if i was going the EV route, the Sailun Erange come Very highly rated for commuter driving. Cheap, long lasting, survives pot holes with thin profiles. Just dont expect ultra high performance nor surviving -20 winters.
I switched to a set of Hancook ION Evo tires and now I can never seem to get into the green when looking at the energy screen. I'm always in the orange now.
Am eu Sailun Atrezzo, fix dimensiunea asta. Le folosesc de un an de zile, aproape 20 de mii de kilometri cu ele, n-am pățit nimic, ia mai mult timp la frânare decât cauciucuri bune, atât pot spune.
J have had the Hankook, didn't like them. Not the secure feeling that I wanted.
I have a 2023 and love it, but the hankook dynapro at2 tires are the worst I’ve ever experienced. Laughable traction in wet weather, a slight incline would spin the rears no matter what. Worse, they punctured 4 times just from driving on dirt roads. Gravel was opening these things up like they were ziplock bags.
