Tires Hankook or Toyo
I commute to DIA from the Springs a LOT, and I have the AT3s. Great tire, lightweight enough to preserve MPGs, but still does well in snow. Plus they still look pretty good. Had them 20k miles now and they're still in great shape.
Toyo opencountry CTs all day I have 100,000 on my current set and still will last another summer, they are definitely in the upper end of price but they last and they are great in the snow/ice
I got a blow out on a pothole, Toyota towed car, i had to drive to a dealer myself to buy a Toyo and drive it where my car was, and that got me on the road
Put 19" Hankook ION EVO AS on my 2024 performance last week, and so far, I'm a fan. Obviously not enough experience with them yet to have much of an opinion, though.
Hankook ion evo on my 2022 LR. Love em. Don’t care about handling, the car still drives like a go cart in my book. Quiet and efficient tire
I bought Hankook evo for the Lexus and it was very smooth, before I changed the car.
20k on the 19" Hankook Ion EVO AS
So the ride is quieter the handling is quite good and the efficency is amazing.
The stock tires kind of suck, but I think people here overblow how bad they are. They're acceptable for daily driving, but a lot of people who buy these cars like to drive them like racecars from time to time and in that regard they are pretty terrible.
On our 2016 I had to ditch the Toyos at 19k because I drove down a gravel driveway and popped one when a piece of gravel went through them... They are so bad.
I just replaced the OEM tires on my 2019 @ 44k miles. The Toyos would have never gotten me through the first snow.
