Ion Evo A/S has a softer and quieter ride. they don't stick like Michelin's off the line and in the corners, but would easily pick Hankooks again
we went with hankook because discount tire carries them, and we have been buying tires from discount for 20+ years. so far, smooth and quiet, and nice range increase
Hankook dyanapro AT2. I put them shits on all my 4wd's and I've never thought they were too expensive
My recommendation is the "other" OEM tire, Hankook's Kinergy series. On my RWD 22, they've lasted 35k miles so far and are still not near replacement. Unlike the Bridgestone's they are solid and you almost never hear a bad word from those that lucked out and got them.
have the same setup on my Tahoe, except my rims are 22x9.5. Not bad honestly, really no complaints. The mpg is terrible. I always think I'm speeding but I'm just not, kind of a slow ride, but I enjoy driving and listening to music. It still had get-up at high rpms. I got the v8 tho so might make a difference. I’ve had these tires on my Subaru for the past five years and they’ve been great. 60k on them and still some life left.
You will gain a few percent and the handling is similar or perhaps slightly better.
They were fine for highway. I got a flat in 1 and decided it was time for an upgrade at 22,500. They had plenty of tread left. They just didn't feel like a truck tire to me.
I learned anything from this forum, it’s that the Hankook factory tires are simply the worst. I’m just a regular city driver so I honestly can’t tell the difference.
Has anybody experienced dry rot with the factory Hankook Kinergy GT tires that came equipped with the 16" Torontos (In MY 2017 at least)? All four tires have these cracks along the outer channels. 16k miles, 8/32" tread depth remaining. 4 years old.
