Tires Hankook or Uniroyal
I’ve got the hankook ions for 800 and perform better than sailun.
I have hankook Ventus S1 evo3s and they’re great
Uniroyal has never let me down. Plus, it's the only brand that you can still get whitewalls from without specially ordering them, so, bonus
I’ve had Hankook DynaPro HT on my 06 4Runner for 8 years. No issues, only 40K. Plenty of tread. But time to replace soon.
Some more budget friendly brands that make good tires are Hankook.
Yes, it is worth it to spend more money. They will last longer, be more comfortable, have more grip, and make less noise.
My favs: Hankook kinergy PT last forever. Michelin crossclimate 2 are great in weather. Uniroyal tiger paw are a decent bargain.
One review says it's quiet, but the other review says it's loud:
I never realized how bad the Kinergy GT's were until I got some Continental DWS06's. They really are a terrible tire OP, definitely worth replacing altogether
Driving reaffirmed my decision to ditch these lazy tires. They only grab the road when they feel like it. They are a medicinal marijuana user making your bowl at Chipotle: doing a little work, spacing, doing a little more. I'll grab the road now, take a break, then grab again -- all while you're going around a single curve on a down hill slope.
