Tires Kormoran or OEM Volkswagen
These tires were just taken off a two-week old 2022 Volkswagen GTI. The tires were driven lightly during break-in period before dismounting with only 315 miles on them. They are in as-new condition.
Overall the I found the GTI was very impressive at a track that doesn't cater to FWD and with terrible 560tw all seasons.
I did get new wheels and tires and couldn\u2019t be happier. The 205/55s are a better choice for general use, being much quieter overall and considerably less harsh on city streets, while keeping very solid highway performance.
I test drove all 3 tire size when shopping the Arteon, don't be fooled, size does matter. As expected, 18 inch has the best ride and the 20 the worst. It was quite noticeable even on the short drive.
Apart from the stock all-season tires being abysmally horrid in the winter (I have another set of wheels with summer-only tires for warm weather), I haven't had any issues with my car and using the go-pedal.
Just drove my mk5 through a winter storm. (quite literally) It performed very well! It has identical handling characteristics to the mk6 Golf. As others have said, it strongly depends on the tires.
I get 37mpg city in my tdi, and the best mileage I ever got on my rabbit (2.5 mkv) was 32mpg with 15's and ultra low rolling resistance tires.
I ha dto change my tires e-brake, e-brake lines, brakes rotors, rear subframe bushings and I have 8 codes on my car sayin I now have electicall problems.
My last vw, jetta, the rears always got scalloped eventually, even with rotations...now on the CC, just had the tires again rotated with the 30k service and the noise from the front is annoying as hell...that droning reverbish kind of sound.
Tenho uns kormoran atrás, que vinham com o carro, e digo, nunca vi nada tão mau ???? e são uns kormoran ultra high performance, que patinam em piso molhado, mesmo a baixas velocidades.
