Tires Kumho or BFGoodrich
Stock Pirellis were getting a little low after about 35,000 miles and decided to upgrade a bit. Went with KO2s 245/65/17. Love the fitment even more. They’re slightly wider than the stock 225s. Make a huge difference off-road and feels more like a truck when driving.
My brother just got kumho ecsta sport a/s on his stinger and he’s very happy with them.
Stock Kumho tires on my 2024 model, usually stay on ECO mode but I do use smart mode sometimes. Currently at almost 23k miles the odometer stays at 44mpg average, I calculated based on fills about 43.2 mpg which is pretty close.
Ko3… 50k miles in mine and lots of tread left
Kumho Ecsta 4x II. I had them on my old car and loved the grip. Decent performance all-seasons.
Your KO2s/KO3s are excellent tires, you don't need any other tires for a 3 mile drive. They are 3PMS tires and perform well on ice among AT tires.
On my current car I drove kumho tires in the summer and they are pretty decent. Not the best I had but still pretty good.
K02s aren't the best on wet/slushy pavement in my opinion. I've had the rear step out on me twice cornering, spin in place at a stop a few times and pretty much guaranteed to get a bit loose on standing water with speed.
I have k02 on mine and i dont like them. They look great and in mud and dirt they are great but a little water ore snow and ice and they break free if i goose it just a hair.
I have the BFGoodrich ones and hate them. Burned through half the tread thickness in a couple hot summer months. But even with still plenty of tread, the mf's slip when it's damp out... 0/10
