Tires Kumho or BFGoodrich
I, also, have the KO2's after having KO's. I have been quite happy with them and they have been better in snow (when we manage to get any snow) so that is a plus for me. They have done well on dirt and slickrock so if you are doing a variety of driving they will serve you well.
Without checking the prices on any of those links, Kumhos give the most performance and life for the dollar price typically
Kumho solus 31s on my car - got a full set a few years ago. No complaints whatsoever - well worth the money imho; very good quality.
My Truck has Kumho Crugen HT51. They are much better then the Goodyear Wranglers they replaced.
Just bought kumho ecsta pa51s for a really good price from Quattro tires based in Quebec. Have dealt with them before on kumhos and have good customer support and shipping times. The pa51s are high performance all seasons with really good tread wear but not a lot of recognition they’re really nice so far.
BFGOODRICH G-FORCE SPORT COMP-2 XL on a 2005 Cooper S. They’ve been on for 3 years and ~21k miles. Great tire, good wear pattern and I’ve rotated them 2x.
The next tires i plan on getting are Kuhmos. I had some on a '16 GLI that were very quiet and rode great.
I'd be inclined to go with something like this : BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT - Size: 235/70R16 it is Severe Snow Service Rated and $136.99 @ Tire Rack
The Kumho's aren't that bad in noise, until you get to the halfway point, then it starts to get noisy.
I tried kumhos on my gti and x3. Not happy with them. After some wear they get really loud and feel un balanced
