Tires Kumho or PHANTOM
I've had the previous Kumho Ecsta Sport on a different car for budgetary reasons. They were great for a few months, but I felt like they lost a ton of grip after 10k miles or so. Longevity was my only complaint, but it was for my daily so even without a ton of grip, I'd consider them a good buy for value.
I get a lot of kms out of kumho solus
I have the same year and trim and tires. Just went in today for the 30K check (30,500 miles), and I have 5/32 on the front, 2/32 on the back. I am planning on changing all four now, just debating which tires to get. I'll probably get the Kumho Crugen's again, as they seemed really quiet.
I’ve ran Ecstas on all my cars they’re good tires
After blowing out a tire on a particularly nasty pothole I replaced my stockers with a set of Kumho Ecsta PA51 XLs. These are a nice, reasonably priced set of ultra-high performance all seasons that I'd been running on my MR2 Turbo and been very happy with.
Mine are 7 years old and the best tires shop in my town said that I still have 10-12k miles left on them. I decided to replace with the exact same ones though, since my car sits in FL sun whole days. They are excellent.
Also 215/55er gibt's von Kumho auch schon für unter 100€ das Stück, da würde ich jetzt nicht zu einem Fabrikat greifen, das im ADAC nicht über "mangelhaft" rauskommt.
Kumho Solus's. Bought them as an all weather tire for a backup vehicle. Reviews seemed mixed but decent overall and the price is hard to beat. They wore faster than winter tires, and didn't have near the same performance. Even with rotations, the tread was gone within 25000 km.
730s are pretty disappointing as an autocross tire. They thrive on heat, but it’s hard to get them hot enough that they will work well for autox. They are awful in cold weather.
Kumho ecstas- slid right off the road within a week of getting them
